The Teachers at Rock Creek are Talking
Tonight, a document containing statements from teachers, staff, and parents at Rock Creek Elementary school was released. Rock Creek is where Principal Chris Thomas and Dean John Schuster work, both of whom featured heavily in the PRR documents related to the Neyers case. 20+ teachers and staff at Rock Creek were willing to make statements, most directed against Chris Thomas in particular. Again, the Neyers case has revealed systemic issues within our system here in the Tahoma School District, and teachers and staff have a powerful perspective on them. By elevating educator voices, we hope to see action to address these problems sooner rather than later.
